We are thrilled to be performing at the 2015 Capitol Jazz Festival in Canberra on June 8.
This performance is coming off the back of a new recording and a performance at the Brisbane International Jazz festival in the same week so it’s going to be a lot of fun.
This is a new project of writing and touring music inspired by themes of ANZAC letters and correspondence. The themes are very charged so it has been a very enriching process exploring handwritten letters, journals and postcards from families and soldiers during the First World War and then trying to respond to and explore some of these themes through music.
