On Sunday night the Queensland Youth Orchestra Big Band will meet with Corner Pocket Swing for a night of user-friendly Jazz Hits and Swing Dancing in the Concert Hall of the Old Museum Building. There will be a beginners dance class from 6pm and two sets of music from an 18-piece big band from 7pm. The Corner Pocket Swing Crew will team up with many of the brightest young Jazz musicians in Brisbane for a fun night of dance and music. I had been wanting to collaborate with many of Brisbane's finiest Swing Dancers for quite some time so I am looking forward to this. We hope to see you there.
