On Saturday May 16 my quartet will perform three pop-up performances at the State Library of Queensland as part of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra Current Series. I am very excited to be part of this new festival and to be performing with my own quartet featuring Steve and Owen Newcomb and Nathan Goldman. There will also be free performances by The Australian Voices and Kupka's Piano throughout the day.
We will perform recent works of mine commissioned for the 2014 Brisbane International Jazz Festival and arrangements of pieces from my latest album The Sweetness of Things Half-Remembered.
